4 DAYS MARRAKECH TO MERZOUGA DESERT

ITINERARY
DAY 1:
MARRAKECH – AIT BEN HADDOU – OUARZAZATE – VALLE DEL DADES.
After breakfast, we will start the desert tour. You will cross the High Atlas mountains , through the highest pass in the country Tizi in Tichka (2,260m altitude), then you will pass through interesting villages until you reach the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou (declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987), an enclosure fortified within a walled town that you will surely recognize, since this citadel has been the setting for very famous films.
Continuing the route, we will pass through Ouarzazate, we will return to the Highway of a Thousand Kasbahs towards Skoura, and from there we will cross the Roses Valley to finally reach the Dades Valley. Dinner and accommodation in a hotel located in the Dades Gorges.
DAY 2 :
DADES VALLEY – THE TODRA GORGES – THE MERZOUGA DESERT.
The next day, after breakfast, you will continue your route passing through many Berber villages. You will visit the Todra Gorges with the possibility of eating there, to take advantage and see the impressive place in peace. Once the visit is over, you will go directly to the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, where you will begin the camel excursion, stopping to watch the sunset, until you reach the heart of the desert. Upon arrival, an excellent and restorative tea and an exquisite Berber dinner await you, all accompanied by the music of the tam-tam (drums). You will enjoy a unique and unforgettable night, thanks to the large number of stars that populate the desert nights. You will sleep in Berber tents.
DAY 3:
THE MERZOUGA DESERT – DARAA VALLEY – OUARZAZATE.
They are already in the desert enjoying the magic of the dunes…! Today, it is mandatory to get up early to see the sunrise from the top of the dunes. We will have breakfast and continue our way to Ouarzazate through Rissani, where we will stop to visit its traditional medina, which is considered the largest in Southern Morocco. Then we will continue to Alnif, Tazarine and the Draa Valley, with its impressive palm groves. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.
DAY 4: OUARZAZATE – TELOUAT – ALTO ATLAS – MARRAKECH.
After breakfast and before continuing to Marrakech, you will visit the famous Kasbah of Taourirt, built in adobe with crenellated towers and which, due to its importance, its architecture and its decoration, is one of the most beautiful in Morocco. You will have the honor of having visited the largest residence of the Glaoui, the ‘pasha’ of Marrakech. After seeing it, we will continue towards the red city of Marrakech crossing the Alto mountains .
